I didn’t really have plans to keep a kitten from this litter, but when I saw that we had a nearly correctly marked seal mitted girl that was okay with the dogs being around (Cyann is a very protective mom and she doesn’t allow the dogs too close, but this kitten would make an effort to go by the dogs and play with their tails) we had to keep her. The next thing was coming up with a name. Nathan decided he wanted this kitten to show since Lily was nearly finished and would be staying home to raise kittens. Since she followed the kids everywhere, even when they didn’t want her there, my husband said we should name her after a weed (all our cats get flower names that are born here and stay here). Dandelion didn’t fit her so we came up with Thistle! |
